VSync - Vertical Synchronization

by - August 20, 2018

Hey, people don't you know what actually Vsync in modern computer games? don't you know what it actually does? then today I am going to tell you everything about Vsync, so guys without wasting time let's start talking about it briefly

Reference - Vsync is the short form of Vertical Synchronization

What is Vsync?

Well, guys, Vsync is a display technology that allows you to Synchronize the game's frame rate with the monitor's refresh rate for much better stability and it also prevents screen tearing and artifacts in the game.

How does it work?

As I researched on Vsync it actually lock the fps to certain points like if you are getting less than 55 fps than turning Vsync will lock your framerate to 30fps and if you are getting more than 65 than it will lock to 60 fps, turning Vsync may give you more fps though but it will not good as artifacts and screen tearing less gameplay.
